New 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Pricing and Features Announced

Dodge has revealed pricing and details for its all-new 2024 Charger Daytona, marking the brand's first foray into all-electric muscle cars. The new Charger aims to blend traditional muscle car performance with modern electric technology.
Pricing and Performance Specs
The 2024 Charger Daytona will launch with two high-performance models. The Charger Daytona R/T starts at $57,790 CAD (including destination) and delivers 496 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque. It includes a standard Direct Connection Stage 1 Upgrade.
The Charger Daytona Scat Pack, starting at $89,790 CAD (including destination), boasts 670 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. It can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and complete a quarter-mile in approximately 11.5 seconds. This model includes a standard Direct Connection Stage 2 Upgrade and Track Package.
Electric Vehicle Features
As Dodge's first all-electric vehicle, the Charger Daytona will initially be available in British Columbia and Quebec before expanding to other markets. It's expected to be eligible for up to $5,000 in federal EV rebates and up to $7,000 in provincial rebates.
The purchase includes a choice between a Free2move Charge home charging station or public charging credits. Using a Level 3 DC fast charger, the Charger can recharge from 20% to 80% in about 27 minutes.
Design and Technology
The new Charger features a hidden hatch design and widebody proportions for improved aerodynamics. It also includes a patent-pending Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust system for enhanced sound.
Inside, drivers will find a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 interface with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Performance driving aids include one-pedal driving and regenerative braking options.
Standard safety features include automatic emergency braking, lane management systems, and advanced park assistance.
Production Timeline
Two-door Charger Daytona models will begin production in summer 2024, with four-door versions following in the first half of 2025. Gas-powered Charger SIXPACK models are scheduled for production in late 2025.
All new Charger models will be produced at the Windsor Assembly Plant in Ontario, Canada.
