Jeep is coming with an electric SUV very soon

Jeep is working very hard on its electrification strategy. We have seen that in recent months with the introduction of the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe as well as the impressive Jeep Wrangler 4xe. Jeep now has its sights set on a fully electric SUV which will be arriving sometime next year.

Jeep unveiled the first image of its upcoming fully electric sport utility vehicle, and from what we can see in the picture it appears that the vehicle is very close to production. It features the traditional Jeep design with the seven slot grill, only this one is filled in because electric motors do not need air intakes.

In terms of size, this new Jeep electric SUV seems to be based closely on the Jeep Cherokee. Will Jeep decide to offer an electric version of the new generation of the Jeep Cherokee, or will it attach an exclusive nameplate to this new Jeep EV? We don't have all the answers you and Jeep didn’t provide too many details.

We don't have information on range or battery capacity or even exactly when the new Jeep electric SUV will arrive on the market. That said, we are sure that it will offer impressive off-road capability and that it will be a true Jeep product, only this time with an electric motor.
