Blazing New Trails: Jeep Unleashes Four Jaw-Dropping Concept 4x4s at Easter Jeep Safari

For Jeep enthusiasts, the annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah is the ultimate pilgrimage - a week-long celebration of the most iconic 4x4 brand in the world. And this year, Jeep is making the journey with a heritage-inspired lineup of four new eye-catching and mission-capable concept vehicles that are sure to get hearts racing.

The Easter Jeep Safari has become a legendary event, drawing over 20,000 die-hard Jeep fans each year to put their rigs to the test on some of the most challenging and picturesque trails the Utah desert has to offer. As Bill Peffer, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand North America, stated, "Easter Jeep Safari in Moab is the perfect venue for new Jeep concepts...this year's 4x4 concepts illustrate how the most capable Wrangler ever appeals to such a wide range of people."

Leading the pack is the Jeep Wrangler Low Down concept - a modern homage to the fan-favorite Lower 40 concept from 2009. This beast manages to squeeze massive 42-inch BFGoodrich Krawler mud-terrain tires under custom high-clearance carbon fender flares, while retaining the stock Rubicon 392 suspension and a thumping 475-horsepower 6.4-liter V8 engine. The sleek Poison Apple Red paint, streamlined body, and race-inspired details are the cherries on top.

Blending vintage charm with cutting-edge tech is the Wrangler 4xe Willys Dispatcher concept. Inspired by early post-war civilian Jeeps, this 4x4 rocks classic styling cues like the "steelies" wheels and WILLYS lettering, but packs the advanced 4xe plug-in hybrid system under the hood for electrified off-road capability. The distressed saddle leather and houndstooth interior is simply chef's kiss.

Of course, Jeep's midsize pickup couldn't be left out of the fun. The Gladiator Rubicon High Top concept turns this truck into the ultimate adventure rig with concept JPP flat fenders, massive 40-inch BFGoodrich tires, and fortified Dana 60 axles. Yet it still maintains its daily drivability thanks to the robust 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine.

Last but not least is the luxurious Vacationeer concept built on the Grand Wagoneer platform. This premium off-road SUV seamlessly blends modern tech like the 510-horsepower Hurricane Twin Turbo with nostalgic details like the bodyside woodgrain graphics. The custom RedTail Overland Skyloft roof tent and designer Kiel James Patrick's New England-inspired interior touches are just icing on an already delectable cake.

“Our extended Jeep Performance Parts from Mopar team can’t wait to get back to Moab for the 58th annual Easter Jeep Safari,” said Mike Koval Jr, North America senior vice president, Mopar service, parts and customer care. “We look forward to unveiling a new set of concept vehicles that feature our latest custom and factory-tested and factory-backed production parts and accessories that allow us to tackle some of the toughest trails in the world.”
