The 2022 Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer unveiled

Unveiled with great fanfare today, the new 2022 Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer are more than new three-row SUVs, they are the beginning of a whole new brand. Indeed, Wagoneer becomes a new brand which is in reality a premium extension of the Jeep brand. The two models, the 2022 Wagoneer and the 2022 Grand Wagoneer, are the first models of the new brand.

Lots of space, lots of luxury

We'd think at first glance that the Grand Wagoneer is simply a more spacious version of the Wagoneer, but it isn't. In fact, while the Wagoneer promises a lot of luxury and sophistication, the Grand Wagoneer will be even more opulent, exclusive and upscale.

The 2022 Wagoneer starts at $ 69,995 while the 2022 Grand Wagoneer starts at $ 100,995. Orders can be taken today, and vehicles will arrive in the second portion of 2021. Those who give a deposit will be entitled to a concierge service to accompany them during and after the purchase.

Both models offer space for 8 passengers and three rows of seats including optional mid-row captain's seats. The differences between the Wagoneer and the Grand Wagoneer are more to be found in the engines and equipment.

The 2022 Grand Wagoneer has a total of 75 inches of screen inside including a central screen of over 12 inches. There's also a 10.25-inch passenger screen so the passenger can control phone functions, navigation, and rear entertainment. The Wagoneer is no slouch either with a total of 50 inches of screen inside.

Under the hood, the Wagoneer offers a 5.7-litre V8 that develops 392 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque. As for the 2022 Grand Wagoneer, it offers a more powerful 6.4-litre V8 engine with 471 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque. This engine will be able to propel the Grand Wagoneer to 100 km/h in about 6.0 seconds and, more importantly, it will be able to tow up to 10,000 lbs!

Both SUVs offer standard 4x4 all-wheel drive and the Selec-Terrain drive mode system. A Quadra-Lift air suspension is standard on the Grand Wagoneer and optional on the Wagoneer, and allows for height adjustment and increased ground clearance.

In addition to a host of advanced technologies in terms of connectivity (Uconnect 5) and security, exclusive technologies such as a night vision system with animal detection and a “zoom” system for the rear seats will also be offered.
