Jeep Wrangler is the SUV with the best resale value according to Canadian Black Book 2021

The Jeep Wrangler offers best-in-class resale value based on recent Canadian Black Book Best Retained Value awards. The Jeep Wrangler edged the Toyota 4Runner as well as all other midsize and full-size SUVs in the industry.

This is far from the first time that the Jeep Wrangler has been found among the vehicles with the best resale value in the industry according to the Canadian Black Book. Not only did the Wrangler win its segment, but it finished among the best vehicles in the segment according to Canadian Black Book with a retained value of 87.2%.

This means the Wrangler retains over 87% of its value after four years. This is over 23% more than the retained value industry average.

Interestingly, in addition to the Wrangler, the Dodge Challenger finished first ahead of the Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang in the sports car segment for retained value.

The retained value is an indication of the depreciation and resale value of a vehicle. The Canadian Black Book evaluates the retained value by calculating the percentage that remains of the initial value after four years.

In other words, a vehicle that offers good retained value will suffer less depreciation and have better resale value, something all consumers are looking for.
