Chrysler Pacifica receives highest possible rating for its safety

The Chrysler Pacifica has received the highest possible safety rating from the IIHS, the organization responsible for safety assessment in North America. The Top Safety Pick Plus rating is awarded to vehicles that have passed all crash tests with the highest IIHS score.

These exhaustive tests include in particular:

  • Small front overlap (driver side)
  • Small front overlap (passenger side)
  • Moderate front overlap
  • Side impact
  • Roof resistance
  • Headrests and seats

In other words, IIHS tests are designed to assess a vehicle from all possible sides to ensure occupants are well protected in all situations.

The Chrysler Pacifica is also equipped with an advanced safety system called AEB. This system is able to detect and avoid potential collisions by warning the driver of a danger and intervening if the collision is not avoidable. This technology received the highest rating from the IIHS as well, as did the headlights.

The Pacifica is a versatile minivan that is available as a PHEV trim as well as an all-wheel drive model. Come discover the all-new Chrysler Pacifica today!
