Whether you’re cruising down the highway in a Jeep Grand Cherokee making dust on a country road in a Ram truck, or racking around the track on a 250cc Kawasaki you can likely thank the good folks at Brandon Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram for your good fortune in being able to experience the opportunity to drive such great vehicles.

Brandon Chrysler has been in the business of selling quality new and used vehicles for over 30 years. While the Jeep lineup and Ram trucks are the vehicles in most demand, the dealership holds a steady inventory of over 150 vehicles.

While striving to provide customers with superior service and professional sales experience, they are also proud to be community champions by sponsoring various events and organizations.

“We’ve gotten behind events like the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, and organizations such as Westman Dreams for Kids, the Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba, Teen Challenge and the Brandon Shrine Club,” said Blaine Roque, General Manager. “And now, we’re excited to announce our support and involvement with the 204 Grassroots Motocross.”

204 Grassroots Motocross, formerly the Manitoba Motocross Association, is dedicated to the growth and development of motocross racing in Manitoba. This local association has partnered with Motorsports Racing Canada to bring riders together to develop new riders, and to share the passion of the sport with all stakeholders.

“We’re involved in every way that I can think of. We volunteer, some of us are riders, we’re getting our kids involved, we provide financial support, and we play a role in helping to promote the sport and the association. It’s a unique partnership.” said Blaine.

With the new focus on supporting community sports and recreation, Brandon Chrysler staff know that helping kids get involved with sports like motocross is important for many reasons. Motocross gets kids outside, keeps them active, helps to post their confidence, encourages them to build o their mechanical skills, and gives them a sense of belonging as they become part of the motocross family.

“We want to have a bigger impact on what’s happening in the sporting community. If we can help to get more kids involved and help to grow the sport, then we know we’ve done a good thing, It’s a good cause.”

The motocross season ramps up during the summer months with practices and a full schedule of races taking place throughout the province. Local riders practice and learn how to ride (new riders can enrolling in Motocross School) at the TransCanada Mot Park in Kemnay. Small electronic bikes are available to children as young as four years old so they too can try their skill at motocross.

If you make your way to one of the nearby races this summer, you’ll be sure to run into some of the folks at Brandon Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. Be sure to say hi and thank them for giving back to the community and helping to grow the sport of motocross. And they’ll love seeing you pull up with your bikes on a trailer pulled by a quality Ram truck!
